Master Class
This class will instruct students on how to design and create small hollow forms from sheet metal. These forms can be sculptural, elegant and functional as small vases or perfume bottles. How to balance a form which may stand on one surface or be able to balance on more than one surface to create visual variety will be covered. Some surface and decorative techniques will be demonstrated as finishing options. How to make a stopper for a perfume bottle will also be taught. Size format for these pieces will be 3" or smaller. Basic metal smithing skills and soldering experience will be helpful.
